Step By Step provides Maternity Support Services and Infant Case Management to qualified candidates through WA Medicaid Insurance. Pregnant women and women with children under 1 year of age enrolled in WA Medicaid health insurance are eligible to receive prenatal and postpartum support at no charge through the first year of their infant's life. One of our caring and dedicated registered nurses, dietitians, or counselors will meet the client in their home or location of choice. She will be there to support the client through the pregnancy and, depending on the needs of the client, into the baby's first year of life. In addition, we provide resources and referrals for food & nutrition, baby items, prenatal care, pediatric care, and mental health services. We also assist with education and information on childbirth education, breastfeeding, infant feeding, job training, emotional wellness, and health & nutrition.
