Provides obstetric care, including prenatal through postpartum medical care. First Steps First Steps helps income-qualified pregnant women or new mothers connect to health care that includes nutrition-based services. Ensures mother and baby are healthy through pregnancy, childbirth and the first year of life by providing - Prenatal care - Medical, vision, and dental care - Delivery - Post pregnancy follow-up - One year of family planning services post pregnancy - One year of full medical for newborns

Eligibility

Primarily serves low-income women living in King County.   First Steps is for pregnant women who are Medicaid eligible.

International Community Health Services

Manages four clinics that offer affordable primary medical and dental care. Staff is multi-lingual in more than 50 languages and dialects. Provides immunizations, family planning, prenatal care, well-child checkups, sports physicals, behavioral health services, nutrition services, and STD testing and treatment. Offers complete eye exam services for adults and children, including prescriptions for glasses and referrals for specialty care at the International District location. Operates the Chinese Traditional Medicine Clinic, which uses acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal medicine and acupressure to treat and prevent diseases. In addition, Operates a Mobile Dental Clinic, traveling to different Seattle Public Schools to provide dental services to students. Also operates two school-based health centers to provide on-site primary care and behavioral health services to students. Assists students and their families in finding health insurance, community-based health and wellness services, and other community resources.
