Offers a 12-session program offered in Spanish that empowers parents to guide and support their children successfully to do better in life and school. Parents learn eight basic parenting techniques:
  • Effective Praise
  • Mild Social Disapproval
  • Ignoring
  • Time Out
  • The Point System
  • First/Then
  • Show and Tell
  • Family Chat
Families also get connected to resources in the community and have access to an Ask the Doc session, where they can ask any question to a Pediatrician. Classes are available in-person and on-line. Assists with free childcare, snacks, tutoring for attending in-person classes. Parent handbook and children’s books are available for both in-person and on-line classes.
