Description
Provides support groups that are designed as a healthy outlet for Fathers of special needs children. Brings together fathers to discuss the daily challenges of life raising a child with special needs or behavioral health challenges. All groups are led by a trained facilitator. Seeks to provide every parent/caregiver (especially dads) the tools, support and training needed to be fully engaged in the recovery of their children. No parent should be excluded from the opportunity to help their children and family flourish and recover. Helps answer questions about systems navigation, IEP/504/Special Education, community resources or almost anything else that relates to raising kids with emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns.
