Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) at Puget Sound Educational Service District - Main

Administers state-funded preschool programs which provide early childhood education experiences such as: - Learning activities - Social development and problem solving - Nutritious meals and snacks - Health and developmental screenings and follow-up - Family support services - Family involvement and leadership opportunities. Each sit's services reflect the ethnicity and culture of the community. Children with disabilities receive all services above, plus coordination of services and individualized education programs.

Eligibility

Private and public schools, educators and families. Programs serve families with low incomes and children with disabilities. Family income must be at or below 110 percent of federal poverty guidelines. Children must be 4 years old by August 31 of the current school year for preschool services. Limited service is available to 3-year-old children in preschool programs. Serves school districts in King and Pierce counties and Bainbridge Island.
