Bilingual, multicultural child development center providing the Beacon Hill, International District, and Roosevelt communities with responsive early childhood education. Emphasizes cultural diversity, social justice, and family involvement to develop children’s self-awareness, cultural pride, and self-esteem. Promoting respect for people of all races and appreciation of the world environment and the greater Seattle area. Curriculum is comprised of four main components: Creative Curriculum 5th edition, Soy Bilingüe Curriculum, themes of the month, and social justice and community involvement. Fee

Price varies by age group - toddlers (ages 15 months - 2-year-olds) and PreK (3-5-year-olds). Please refer to our website for the most up-to-date pricing per age group and site. Tuition assistance accepted through the CCAP or DCYF subsidy programs. Please inquire about eligibility for ECEAP and SPP (Beacon Hill only). No fees for ECEAP (full day and part day available).

Eligibility

Focus is on underserved and underrepresented communities. Serves children ages 15 months to 5 years. Children in Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP) and Seattle Preschool Program (SPP) must be 3-4 years old on August 31 (with priority to 4-years-olds) and meet low-income requirements. ECEAP and APP available at Beacon Hill location only. Families receiving public assistance grants, children in foster care with disabilites are eligible.

Multiservice center offers ESL classes, foreclosure counseling and a legal clinic as well as outreach, advocacy and assistance for veterans. Also operates a congregate meal for older adults, a food pantry, a bilingual child care/preschool program, maternal health and early perinatal care, and a before- and after-school program with homework help and tutoring. Some services focus on serving the Latino community or Beacon Hill residents. Provides case management to high-risk youth to increase school involvement and prevent violence and criminal activity.
