King County Superior Court's Family Law Facilitator Program
Provides information and referrals to family law litigants who are not represented by attorneys. Serves clients on a drop-in basis and by appointment if an interpreter is required. Facilitators help with family law actions such as divorce, child custody and child support by providing free written instructions, explaining court rules and procedures and reviewing forms to completeness. Facilitators do not give legal advice. Also offers an educational class for parties filing non-parental custody actions. There is a $30 fee to meet with the facilitator, however the fee can be reduced or waived based on proof of low-income.
