Respite Care offered at Ashley House
Offers respite care at the facility for several days to several weeks. Also provides training for families on how to care for children with special health care needs. Provides this service in Tacoma, Kent, Northshore, Auburn and Olympia.

Eligibility
Children, ages birth through 18, with head trauma, pulmonary impairment, or similar disability who require ongoing care but do not require hospitalization. Those ages 18-20 may be served if in extended foster care.
Fee
Based on needs of individual clients; call for per-day fee for room and board. Fees are paid by DSHS for some clients. Private insurance, CHAMPUS, WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and private pay are accepted.
