Description
Connects and supports families, helping parents build confidence across multiple stages of parenting from before their baby is born through the teenage years. Groups are fun and social, with a focus on child development and helping parents cope with the challenges of adjusting to a challenging life phase. Groups offer social support to parents by connecting them with other parents with children of the same age. Groups last 6-12 weeks and are led by trained facilitators. Groups meet for weekly discussions on topics relevant to the child's age and development. More than 300 PEPS Groups are offered each year. PEPS also offers one-time workshops, webinars, and events to help parents learn about the development of babies, children, and teens and/or meet other parents in a social environment.
