Promotes reunification of families with a dependency case through early engagement in peer mentoring and education on the dependency system and processes. Parent Ally Mentors, who have successfully reunited their own families after a dependency case, provide support to parents who are new to the process, and can provide assistance at dependency hearings.
Educational classes help parents overcome barriers they might encounter throughout the dependency process. Topics covered include

- Resources if a child is removed from the home
- How to write a statement for the court
- Parent’s rights
- Dependency timeline
- Family drug treatment court
- Key players in the dependency process
