Description

Offers support and information related to prenatal and postpartum health, including brief counseling to prevent stress and depression. Provides information and referrals for appropriate services and resources in the community. Provides information one-on-one and in group settings related to prenatal and postpartum care including: - Family planning - Breastfeeding - Physical discomforts due to pregnancy - Nutrition Provides support and guidance in the care of the new infant from the time the baby is 2-3 months old through his or her first birthday.
