Kitsap Supports Breastfeeding is a network of supports for lactating parents and promotes breastfeeding / chestfeeding in our community. We also recognize that there are many different ways to feed your infant. A healthy baby and a healthy parent are our biggest priorities. We are here to support you in whatever feeding method is right for you.

Kitsap Public Health District has protected the health of our county’s residents since 1947. The mission of KPHD is to prevent disease and protect and promote the health of all people in Kitsap County. A 10-member Public Health Board, composed of local elected officials and community representatives, governs the work of more than 100 professionals in community health, environmental health, public health infrastructure, and administration.
