Center-Based Therapy offered by Children's Therapy Center in Kent

Center-based therapy program provides physical and occupational therapy and speech therapy.   In-home services may be arranged.   Services include individual therapy sessions to address specific developmental difficulties; parents are encouraged to ask questions, express concerns, and share hopes with center staff and other parents. Physical, Occupational, Speech-Language therapy and associated programs for children birth to 18 include: - Speech-language therapy - Occupational Therapy - Physical Therapy - Oral Motor/Feeding Therapy - Parent Education and Support - Aquatic Therapy - Social Skills Groups - Fitness Center - Recommendations for orthotic assessment

Application process

Children are referred to CTC by a pediatrician, neurologist, family physician, public health nurse, school district or parent. Program has a waitlist.

Fee

WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and private insurance are accepted.

Eligibility

Children with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities including: -  Cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders -  Torticollis -  Speech and language disorders -  Brachial plexus injuries -  Spina bifida -  Down syndrome -  Feeding disorders -  Sensory processing difficulties -  Autism -  Dyspraxia
