Early Learning offered at Olympic Educational Service District 114
Provides early learning opportunities for children ages birth to 5. Prioritizes low-income students and students with developmental delays. Early Head Start: A qualified home visitor will visit home once a week for 90 minutes to share fun activities designed to advance child’s development. Locally Designed Option: Offers a hybrid-- in-class and home visiting for 2 year-olds. Head Start/ECEAP Offers center-based preschool programs with locations throughout Kitsap and Mason Counties. Students may attend full-time/part year or part-time/part-year depending on need and availability. Breakfast or lunch is provided depending upon the time of class.

Eligibility
Prioritizes households at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level to be eligible for Head Start and 110% or below of the Federal Poverty Level to be eligible for ECEAP. For those above income guidelines, focuses on children with developmental delays and children who are homeless or in foster care. - Home Based Early Head Start: Pregnant Mothers and Children from Birth to age 3. - Locally Designed Option: Children aged 2 years old. - Full-Day/Part-Year Head Start: Children ages 3-5 years. - Part Day Head Start & ECEAP: Children ages 3-5 years.

This Early Learning program at OESD 114 helps children become ready for kindergarten and helps families find resources they may need to become self-sufficient. Breakfast, lunch, or a snack is provided depending upon the time of class. We offer Home Visiting (age prenatal-3YO), Preschool services (age 3-5), a hybrid in-class and home visiting for 2 year-olds, and we serve families throughout Kitsap and Mason Counties.
