Operates a legal clinic where a free 30-minute legal consultation is available for individuals with cases in King County who are not already represented by an attorney. Focus is on serving African American clients but clinic is open to all.
Operates a legal clinic providing a free 30-minute consultation with an attorney (60 minutes if an interpreter or other accommodation is needed)
Clinic is open to all, but particular focus is on providing culturally-informed legal services in a safe and welcoming environment to individuals who identify as African American or Black. This clinic is staffed primarily by attorneys of color.
Clinic attorneys can:
- Determine whether the client has a legal problem
- Suggest possible options
- Help answer papers, summons and requests
- Provide appropriate referrals
Neighborhood Legal Clinic attorneys may not have expertise in all areas of the law, but they will make every attempt to answer questions accurately.
Attorneys CANNOT give advice on criminal legal issues or provide representation on any legal matters.

Assists pro se litigants regarding legal domestic matters.
Assists pro se litigants regarding legal domestic matters. Will explain how the court works; provide dissolution, child support modification, and parenting plan/custody modification forms packets; provide guidance in filling out forms; check completed paperwork; help schedule court hearings; and assist clients in obtaining an interpreter or other special services needed for court.

Provides comprehensive early childhood programs for low income preschool children and their families.
State-funded preschool program provides comprehensive early childhood programs for low income preschool children and their families.
Services include:
- Health, vision, hearing and developmental screenings
- Family support services
- Preschool classroom experiences
- Snacks
- Hot meals.
Program is administered by the Puget Sound Educational Service District.
Offers employment and training opportunities and services available for parents whose children are enrolled in ECEAP.
Opportunities/services include Peer to Peer leadership programs, child care and interpreter training (available to all parents), as well as the Community Jobs program available to parents currently on WorkFirst and receiving assistance.

Helps pregnant women get the health and social services they may need. Must be approved for Apple Health or Apple Health Pregnancy coverage.
Helps pregnant women get the health and social services they may need and covers a variety of services for pregnant women and their infants.
- Prenatal care
- Medical, vision, and dental care
- Substance use disorder assessment and treatment
- Childbirth education
- Delivery
- Post-pregnancy follow-up
- One year of family planning services post pregnancy
- One year of full medical for newborns
- Transportation
- Interpreter services
Also offers enhanced services called Maternity Support Services, which provides health education and counseling during the pregnancy and until the baby turns two months old. Includes:
- Regular visits in the clinic
- Home visits for special concerns
- Support beyond a doctor or midwife, including nurses, nutritionists, social workers and community health workers
- Referrals to OB care, WIC, health insurance and other community resources
