This 4-hour class offers an overview of researchers’ current understanding of the best approach for supporting children when they live separately from one or both parents.   Participants receive a certificate at the completion of the class.

Helps pregnant and newly parenting women prepare for delivery and parenthood with a series of classes. Lessons include topics such as Understanding Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Infant Hygiene, Infant First-Aid and Getting Your Baby to Sleep. At each weekly appointment, clients will meet one-on-one with a trained peer mentor for one hour. With each lesson that is completed, clients will earn “baby bucks” for supplies such as diapers, wipes, clothing and blankets.

Offers parenting classes throughout the year.  These classes also satisfy the requirements for mandatory court-ordered parenting classes.

Programs that link families to community resources and offers parenting classes and workshops, English and Spanish toddler playgroups, bi-annual infant clothing and toy swap.

Provides two parenting education programs (Mother2Mother and the Incredible Years) to help parents better their parenting skills. Mother2Mother: Offers a 10-week parenting education program for mothers of children birth to 3 years who have histories of childhood trauma. The program addresses topic such as social connection, resiliency, coping with stress, forming mother-child bonds, disciplining children, and other parenting topics relevant to mothers who have experienced trauma. The program is offered for free and childcare is provided. The Incredible Years: Offers weekly group meetings for parents where they learn about building strong relationships with their children using play and praise, as well as effective discipline strategies.  Free childcare is provided during the parenting education program.

Provides various programs for families with children with disabilities, such as: education, support groups, parenting classes, ongoing direct support. Programs include: - Outreach and Support: Provides support through phone, email and home visits to families who call in with difficult situations. Answers questions about their special needs child. Can also attend meetings with parents, for additional support. - Positive Parenting for Challenging Behaviors Classes: The class is taught in a series of two sessions. Parents learn why their children have difficult behaviors, how to prevent unwanted behaviors, and how to teach replacement behaviors. - Play Groups and Summer Camps: Playgroups are designed for parents to attend with their child and focus on supporting social/emotional development. The summer programs are an opportunity to connect with other parents and community programs. - Respite / Parent's Night Out: This program is designed to provide much needed breaks for parents or full time care providers through childcare ‘night out’. This is presently being offered through out reimbursement program but will return to site care once it is safe to do so. - Family Support Groups: Support groups are designed to provide the opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet and discuss topics around advocacy and to network together. Parenting support groups are designed with “mini” lessons that support both the parent and child with topics of parenting. - Family Unity Recreation Activities: FURA‘s provide families an opportunity to have a structured recreation activity with other families who have children with disabilities. Parent’s network and exchange information. Children renew friendships. A good time is had by all.

Provides education on different topics, such as pregnancy, parenting skills, life skills, and spiritual growth for parents of babies under one year of age or those expecting a baby. Attendance allows them to earn baby and maternity items.

A unique, flexible, convenient resource that will help dads to become the best dads they can be. Fathering in 15 contains 15 topics focused on increasing a dad’s awareness and knowledge about what it takes to be a good dad, and the capacity, or skills, to carry out what he learns, building a dad’s self-worth and building a good man and a good dad. Offers educational classes for pregnant people and parents.

Provides a unique opportunity parents or caregivers to engage in child’s education. Combines parenting education with developmentally appropriate and hands-on learning experiences for parent/caregiver and child. Parents and children can enroll in an infant, toddler, and/or preschool classes.

Healthy Families victim services including DV support group, domestic violence and sexual assault support, intervention, advocacy, legal advocacy, emergency and transitional housing. HFCC also provides support, advocacy, intervention and legal advocacy to people affected by general crime.  

Offers virtual parent coaching and seminars. The 60-minute seminars focus on a range of topics for parents and provide tips for everyday parenting. Limit of 12 participants per seminar.

Provides workshops, classes, groups and activities on various topics; such as parenting classes, foster parenting, marriage/divorce issues, at-risk youth, mental health and substance abuse topics, domestic violence, unhealth/unsafe relationships, trauma/abuse care (children & adults), health/nutrition, housing, money management, job development, learning new languages, culture, music/arts, cooking, and independent living skills.

Love and Logic parenting classes are based on allowing children to grow through their mistakes and live with the consequences of their choices.

The Everett Clinic offers a wide variety of classes. Curriculums change month to month. Classes frequently offered include TEC Weight Loss for Life; Your Life, Your Wishes; Conquering Anxiety; Coping with Stress; Living with Chronic Conditions; Newborn Basics, and more.

Father Engagement: Provides fathers with information about the child welfare systems, the courts, child support, and to increase parenting skills. Engages the fathers of children who are placed in out-of-home care and increases the father’s involvement in the lives of their children. Fathers in Transition: Assists African American fathers who have been involved with the criminal justice system by providing employment and housing so they can positively impact the lives of their children and the community. Case managers and peer mentors meet with fathers weekly to provide support, community resources, housing and employment. Must also participate in Father Engagement. Young Bulls Fatherhood Academy: Weekly support services include one-on-one case management, life skills coaching, and workshops that provide access to and information about community resources, housing, employment opportunities, apprenticeship programs, and behavioral health services. Also supplies basic needs such as gas cards, food, bus passes, diapers, wipes and clothing.

A faith-based organization that provides free information and referrals to those experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Services include pregnancy testing, pro-life counseling, parenting support, and community referrals. Does not recommend or refer to abortion services.

Parenting Journey is a 12-week course for parents with children of all ages and stages. Hands-on activities and guided discussions help you develop knowledge and skills that support you as a parent and as a role model.

Provides domestic violence victim impact panels and offers a Spanish DUI panel.

Offers Head Start, Early Head Start, parenting skills education, ECEAP, and parent involvement. Offers rural home visiting and home visits for the children in the Early Head Start program. Provides infants, toddlers, preschool children, and parents with a comprehensive program to meet their emotional, social, health, nutritional, and educational needs. Offers the following: -  Preschool education geared to children's developmental needs -  Health, nutrition and family support services -  Literacy, leadership and employment training opportunities for parents -  Services to support homeless children and families

Provides Behavioral Health Counseling, Immigration Assistance and Social Services. Offers mental health counseling and case management; assistance with immigration status adjustment (green cards/citizenship) and family reunification; senior programs with hot meals and activities; parenting education and family support.

Offers three series of 5 classes to help guide parents of teens. Class topics focus on some of the larger concerns parents have about their developing teen.

Provides parenting classes for women and men throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and up to the first year after baby is born. Also provides education on setting relationship goals and setting healthy boundaries within relationships. Offers one-on-one parenting classes, especially geared for men and led by a male consultant. Variety of topics to support men in being the best dads they can be.

Offers pregnancy tests, options, and information classes. Also have Fetal Development classes and First Time Parenting classes. Can provide baby and maternity clothes, baby furniture, and baby items. Also provides housing in a Maternity Home.
