An online resource designed to help individuals navigate the emotional challenges of divorce. Learn self-care strategies and practical skills for maintaining positive relationships with children and co-parents. Engaging videos and additional resources provide support throughout the process.

Offers classes, referrals, and support groups.

Provides a 4-hour class designed to assist parents in supporting children who have witnessed, or have been affected by domestic violence. Upon completion of the seminar, participants receive a certificate of completion. Classes are offered twice per month on a Saturday from 9am-1pm, and are presented separately for men and women.

Offers programs that teach skills that enable parents to deal constructively and consistently with a broad spectrum of child rearing problems which may include sibling rivalry; school behavior and performance; poor self-esteem; shyness; drug use; sexual promiscuity; and the whole range of negative, acting-out behaviors including whining, temper tantrums, disobedience, insolence and destructiveness. Some parenting skills development programs utilize a step-by-step approach for managing specific problems and may incorporate application at home of techniques that were discussed and practiced in the classroom setting. Other programs may offer participatory family workshops which provide opportunities for parents and children to learn and practice methods for dealing with one another under the guidance of a trained facilitator. Most training programs teach the parent a particular way of talking and relating to their children that reinforces positive behaviors and communication and decreases negative behaviors while supporting the development of a relationship that is built on fairness, mutual caring and respect.

A faith-based organization that provides free information and referrals to those experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Services include pregnancy testing, pro-life counseling, parenting support, and community referrals. Does not recommend or refer to abortion services.

Life Skills education programs teach concepts and principles relevant to a healthy lifestyle. Provides age appropriate information for parents of children birth to age five relating to cognitive and social/emotional skills needed to prepare a child to enter kindergarten. Provides kindergarten readiness seminars for parents of children birth to age five.

Nurse Family Partnership is a free evidence-based community health program that provides home visits to first time parenting moms and their families throughout pregnancy and until the child is two years of age. Nurses work to support families in several different domains: nurse home visitors teach about the mother’s personal health and environmental health, nurses guide new mothers in developing healthy and successful parenting skills while promoting social, emotional, and physical development, nurses mentor clients in establishing and meeting their school and career goals, nurses support clients in building a healthy support network, and nurses make referrals as needed to community agencies.

Facilitates one-on-one meetings with a parenting mentor, who can help clients set up a class schedule and meet for individual parenting training sessions and encouragement. Separate mentoring available for mothers and fathers. Classes meet court requirements. Topics include: -  Nurturing relationships. -  Safe places -  Healthy start -  Effective education Clients enrolled and participating in the parenting program may be eligible for additional support. Participants earn "Care Net Cash" which they can use to shop in the baby boutique, which has items like diapers, formula, clothing and baby furniture including car seats and cribs. Limited one-time assistance provided for non-participants.

Bi-lingual, bi-cultural staff provide support and information for Spanish speaking families in times of crisis. Offers relationship and parenting skills classes in Spanish.

Provides online parenting classes for ages 0-16, with a certificate of completion. Hardcopy and ebook materials are available and some classes may be eligible as court ordered parenting class requirements.

Offered monthly to families at no cost. CRISP (Culturally Responsive, Integrated and Strength-Based Parenting) is an offered Health Class. Open to moms, dads and caregivers of children under 6 years old, and whose household income is less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Participants who complete the survey after each class will receive a $20 Amazon e-gift card per adult who participates. Topics can include things like: - Healthy Nutrition for Family - Getting Preventative Health Screening - Setting Healthy Goals as a family.

Offers the Parent-Child Plus Program, which is a home visiting literacy program for children, age 2, and their parents.

Offers resources for parents of children with disabilities. Includes Father's Network, for fathers of children with disabilities; and SibShops, for siblings of children with disabilities. Provides a series of culturally relevant parent education classes and individual counseling sessions with parents who are experiencing parenting challenges. Classes are available to the general public and focus on child development, stress and anger management, nutrition, health and safety, communication, self-esteem and behavior.

Provides prenatal, newborn, and toddler parenting education classes and the opportunity to earn new baby equipment.
