Provides a variety of parent education classes from the "8-week Circle of Security" to a 24-week Nurturing Program.

Classes cover topics such as baby care and safety, senior health, childbirth preparation, first aid, CPR, disease management, diabetes education, emergency and safety education, and neurological and movement disorders.

The Everett Clinic offers a wide variety of classes. Curriculums change month to month. Classes frequently offered include TEC Weight Loss for Life; Your Life, Your Wishes; Conquering Anxiety; Coping with Stress; Living with Chronic Conditions; Newborn Basics, and more.

Offers classes, referrals, and support groups.

Provides domestic violence and sexual assault client advocacy services, including community outreach and education, parent support and skills classes, crime support services, and safety planning for survivors.

Provides education on fatherhood, support, and a mentoring program for men who are fathers or expecting a baby to help them be more involved in the pregnancy and/or the child's life.

Offers parenting classes that focus on helping children learn from their mistakes and experience the natural consequences of their choices.

Offers resources for parents of children with disabilities. Includes Father's Network, for fathers of children with disabilities; and SibShops, for siblings of children with disabilities. Provides a series of culturally relevant parent education classes and individual counseling sessions with parents who are experiencing parenting challenges. Classes are available to the general public and focus on child development, stress and anger management, nutrition, health and safety, communication, self-esteem and behavior.

Provides prenatal, newborn, and toddler parenting education classes and the opportunity to earn new baby equipment.

Offers programs that teach skills that enable parents to deal constructively and consistently with a broad spectrum of child rearing problems which may include sibling rivalry; school behavior and performance; poor self-esteem; shyness; drug use; sexual promiscuity; and the whole range of negative, acting-out behaviors including whining, temper tantrums, disobedience, insolence and destructiveness. Some parenting skills development programs utilize a step-by-step approach for managing specific problems and may incorporate application at home of techniques that were discussed and practiced in the classroom setting. Other programs may offer participatory family workshops which provide opportunities for parents and children to learn and practice methods for dealing with one another under the guidance of a trained facilitator. Most training programs teach the parent a particular way of talking and relating to their children that reinforces positive behaviors and communication and decreases negative behaviors while supporting the development of a relationship that is built on fairness, mutual caring and respect.

Offers pregnancy tests, options, and information classes. Also have Fetal Development classes and First Time Parenting classes. Can provide baby and maternity clothes, baby furniture, and baby items. Also provides housing in a Maternity Home.

Multi-service family support program offers outpatient mental health services for children and families. Services include case management, brief intervention treatment, less restrictive alternative support and family, group and individual therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Offers supportive services for parents and caregivers to build loving bonds with their children preparing them for healthy futures. Essential Needs: - Provides diapers of various sizes, wipes and formula based on availability. Can receive additional supplies every 30 days. - Provides clothing sizes newborn to 2T every 60 days. Takes up to two business days to fill order. - Offers other essential items every 60 days such as Baby bathtub, stroller, highchair, etc. based on availability. Parenting Classes: - Circle of Security teaches parents to identify, understand and respond to their child's emotional needs. The 8-week course is offered quarterly for caregivers of children aged six months to five years. - Baby Care 101 is a course providing expectant and newly parenting caregivers education and tools to learn how to care for their new baby. - Toddler Care 202 is an interactive parenting series that covers child development, nutrition, sleep, potty-training, and more. - Also offers an interactive music class for children ages birth-5 to attend with their caregiver. Pregnancy and Parenting Support: Offers a weekly drop-in social support group for moms with children up to age 5. Childcare is provided. ​Offers parents the opportunity to have parent support, goal setting, and community resources to help them be the parent they want to be with support from our compassionate circle of security-trained case manager. Families with children ages 3-5 can access Education Support to work on kindergarten readiness. Adults may receive ESL support. The program is specifically designed for families facing difficult life circumstances and parents who desire to develop family-building skills. Parenting Class: Parents learn the Positive Behavior Intervention Supports system, used by many school districts. Parents have the opportunity to connect on a deeper level not only with their own families, but with their peers. Kids Groups: Kids learn the life skills necessary to understand, talk about, and cope with what is happening in their lives in healthy, positive ways. Kids meet at the same time as Parenting Class.

Provides parenting education classes, family conflict intervention and mediation, focusing on cultural transition issues. Provides transportation by appointment with a community van.

Provides community education classes, such as defensive driving, parenting skills, and theft awareness. - Online ​Parenting Classes: this 8 hour parenting skills class is an online course designed to enhance parenting techniques to better meet the developmental needs of children as they grow. This course is offered in both Spanish and English. Topics covered include; raising the next generation, parenting basics, what children need, role modeling, child neglect and abuse, and what children deserve. - Defensive Driving Class: probation services offers defensive driving courses. The focus of our defensive driving course is to assist participants in discovering how their values and attitudes affect their driving behavior. Participants will learn how to make positive choices about their driving behavior. The objective of the defensive driving course is to educate participants about law abiding behavior and safe driving. The online option allows students to conveniently complete the course on their own time while not affecting their school or work schedule. Course is available in person and online. - Theft Awareness Class: this class is designed for a variety of relatively minor theft offenses. Participants are encouraged to develop a personal commitment plan to avoid future theft-related problems and/or arrest. Course is offered in both English & Spanish. Available online and in person. - Online Anger Management Classes: Provides educational opportunities for people who are interested in or who need to learn how to deal with their anger in a positive, functional way.

Offers virtual parent coaching and seminars. The 60-minute seminars focus on a range of topics for parents and provide tips for everyday parenting. Limit of 12 participants per seminar.

A unique, flexible, convenient resource that will help dads to become the best dads they can be. Fathering in 15 contains 15 topics focused on increasing a dad’s awareness and knowledge about what it takes to be a good dad, and the capacity, or skills, to carry out what he learns, building a dad’s self-worth and building a good man and a good dad. Dads can complete each topic in only 15 minutes. To receive a certificate for your participation, please contact First Step before beginning the program for details.

Provides a 4-hour class designed to assist parents in supporting children who have witnessed, or have been affected by domestic violence. Upon completion of the seminar, participants receive a certificate of completion. Classes are offered twice per month on a Saturday from 9am-1pm, and are presented separately for men and women.

Provides mental health and substance use disorder counseling services for individuals and their families in South King County.  Primary focus is the child or children, through family, individual, and group counseling services.

This 12-week parenting program is based on the curriculum, Moral Reconation Therapy and is designed to address past parenting behaviors, present family interactions and assists parents in planning for a healthy family future. This behavioral-based approach to parenting encourages parents to recognize the value of taking responsibility for the choices they make and for the actions that they take. Organization is a contracted provider with DSHS Children’s Services. Course meets court/CPS requirements.

Father Engagement: Provides fathers with information about the child welfare systems, the courts, child support, and to increase parenting skills. Engages the fathers of children who are placed in out-of-home care and increases the father’s involvement in the lives of their children. Fathers in Transition: Assists African American fathers who have been involved with the criminal justice system by providing employment and housing so they can positively impact the lives of their children and the community. Case managers and peer mentors meet with fathers weekly to provide support, community resources, housing and employment. Must also participate in Father Engagement. Young Bulls Fatherhood Academy: Weekly support services include one-on-one case management, life skills coaching, and workshops that provide access to and information about community resources, housing, employment opportunities, apprenticeship programs, and behavioral health services. Also supplies basic needs such as gas cards, food, bus passes, diapers, wipes and clothing.

Organizes parenting programs on parent effectiveness, drug education, child abuse, and reading assistance.   Contact each school building for more information.

Provides two types of courses for parents. Includes instruction in child development, family communication and discipline, and providing a quality learning environment for children. Parent-Child Series: Parents and children (birth to 4 years old) come to class together once a week for parent education discussion, child-study and developmentally appropriate children's activities. Provides an array of topics for parents to learn from. Co-op Preschool Parenting Education: For families who have joined one of the three affiliated neighborhood preschools. College instructor assists parents who run the preschool, attends monthly educational seminars and work in the preschool classroom on a rotating basis. This program is organized through the preschools.

Provides training, information and resources to parents, individuals with disabilities and professionals regarding issues of education. Provides one-on-one support and coordinate workshops in communities throughout Washington. Publishes PAVE Pipeline, a quarterly newsletter, for subscribers which offers information about upcoming workshops and articles of interest. Provides referrals to support groups for parents of children with disabilities.
