Services include legal referral regarding custody, financial assistance to reach basic needs, parent education & training, support group, assistance in applying for federal and state subsidies, help with child care, help in navigating through the education system, and information on medical dental, and mental health services.

Alexandria’s House is a transitional living facility for pregnant and parenting teenagers and their babies. The home has five furnished bedrooms, three bathrooms as well as shared kitchen, living and laundry facilities. Alexandria’s House offers comprehensive case management and 24-hour staff supervision and is licensed by the state of Washington.

Classes are offered in collaboration with schools and generally meet weekly for two hours an evening over a 6-week time period.

- Effective Discipline and Guidance tools.
Classes are offered at a variety of locations, and are free to participants.

Helps African American fathers increase involvement in the lives of their children. Specialized programs available for fathers with children in out-of-home care, fathers 18-24, and fathers involved in the criminal justice system.
Father Engagement:
Provides fathers with information about the child welfare systems, the courts, child support, and to increase parenting skills. Engages the fathers of children who are placed in out-of-home care and increases the father’s involvement in the lives of their children.
Fathers in Transition:
Assists African American fathers who have been involved with the criminal justice system by providing employment and housing so they can positively impact the lives of their children and the community. Case managers and peer mentors meet with fathers weekly to provide support, community resources, housing and employment. Must also participate in Father Engagement.
Young Bulls Fatherhood Academy:
Weekly support services include one-on-one case management, life skills coaching, and workshops that provide access to and information about community resources, housing, employment opportunities, apprenticeship programs, and behavioral health services. Also supplies basic needs such as gas cards, food, bus passes, diapers, wipes and clothing.

Nurses work to support families in several different domains, for example nurses visit families at home and teach about the mother’s personal health and environmental health; they guide new mothers in developing healthy and successful parenting skills while promoting social, emotional, and physical development; they mentor clients in establishing and meeting their school and career goals; they support clients in building a healthy support network; and they make referrals as needed to community agencies.
