Pend Oreille County Counseling Services provides mental health services to individuals who are residents of Pend Oreille County and the Spokane County Regional Support catchment area. This includes residents of Spokane, Adams, Ferry, Grant, Lincoln, Okanogan, and Stevens counties. Residents in other counties or states will need to access services in the Regional Support Network they reside. Accepts all referral sources and provide services for young children to geriatric age.

Provides evaluation and treatment services for children and adolescents, ages birth through 18. Services include comprehensive psychiatric assessment, brief intervention treatment, medication evaluation and management, short-term evidence-informed therapies, and skill-based group programs.  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program is offered for adolescents with self-harm behavior and includes individual and group therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Adult Services: Provides outpatient mental health services for people experiencing depression, anxiety, impulse control and misuse of alcohol and other drugs. Works to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness to improve outcomes for individuals experiencing these illnesses. Offers - Individual One-to-One Counseling - Community Based Case Management - Psychiatric Evaluation - Marriage, Couple & Family Therapy Child/Adolescent Services: Helps children and adolescents who are acting out, seem withdrawn/depressed, have trouble learning or experienced a trauma in their lives, Offers: - Individual & Group Counseling - Family Counseling & Parenting Skills - Intensive Treatment Programs

Offers evidence-based, culturally competent mental health treatment including: -  Mental health assessments as well as psychiatric evaluations -  Case management for adults and children    -  Psychiatric medication assessments and management     -  Individual, group and family therapy    Clients are encouraged to include their families and members of their social support system in their treatment.

School-based services are provided at some schools in these school districts: Bethel, Clover Park, Franklin Pierce, Tacoma and University Place.

Autism Center providers multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluation and treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Services include comprehensive psychiatric assessment, brief intervention treatment, medication evaluation and management, short-term evidence-informed therapies in both individual and group settings. In addition specialized classes and support services are offered to families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Offers many options to support children's mental and behavioral health: - Talking with a behavioral health therapist when a child comes for a medical visit - Diagnostic assessments - One-on-one therapy for a broad range of concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, sleep problems and challenging behaviors - Group therapy - Caregiver support classes - Psychiatric consultation and medication management - Referrals to other places that can help in coordinating those services
