The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is Washington's comprehensive pre-kindergarten program serving at-risk three and four year old children and their families. ECEAP provides children with preschool education, health services, intensive family support, and parent engagement and training.

Provides affordable childcare. Helps children develop self-control, independence, and the ability to make choices. Parent involvement is encouraged. Preschool, Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP), and Head Start are available as well.

Provides learning environments that foster intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth.  Provides family support, community resource referrals, health screenings for each child within first 90 days of program enrollment.  Medical, dental, mental health and nutritional needs are evaluated.  Encourages parent involvement and support to families to find community resources. Programs designed to enhance families' ability to participate in a multicultural society. Offers play-based preschool programs through the Seattle Preschool Program during the school year, as well as preschool and kindergarten readiness programs during the summer.   Staff members take a flexible approach to nurturing the intellectual, physical and social aspects of each child.

Provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families. Program has a social emotional focus. Depending on location, program is funded through Head Start or ECEAP.

Parent Child Center:   Provides a preschool experience and day care for children of students, faculty and staff. Space for general community available on a limited basis. Approved by DSHS.   Cooperative Preschool:   Parent education through parent cooperative schools for parents with children, ages birth-5. Addresses child growth development and parental attitudes.

Offers assistance with essential needs and develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. PREPARES Baby Supply Bags: provides basic baby supplies, based on the age of the child and can include diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, books, and toys. Family Companions: provide an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement. Find comfort and guidance with the support of a family companion who has walked the path of parenthood and empathize with its joys and struggles. Play and Learn Groups: facilitates play groups to support early brain development and kindergarten readiness: play group curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood brain development and family engagement. Play groups give parents and informal caregivers a free, accessible place to meet other families and get support. Sessions are held weekly in community spaces in the child’s own neighborhood and language. Parents as Teachers (PAT): develops curricula, trains early childhood professionals, and certifies parent educators to work with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. Vision: All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.

Provides education and childcare services for children. Service options include full and part time care, and full day ECEAP Preschool. The Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a comprehensive preschool program that provides free services and support to eligible children and their families.

State-funded preschool program provides comprehensive early childhood programs for low income preschool children and their families. Services include:   -  Health, vision, hearing and developmental screenings   -  Family support services   -  Preschool classroom experiences -  Snacks -  Hot meals.   Program is administered by the Puget Sound Educational Service District.   Offers employment and training opportunities and services available for parents whose children are enrolled in ECEAP.   Opportunities/services include Peer to Peer leadership programs, child care and interpreter training (available to all parents), as well as the Community Jobs program available to parents currently on WorkFirst and receiving assistance.

Offers preschool for children ages three to four. The comprehensive program include preschool, nutrition, parenting skills, and health components. Community students are enrolled through the district and pay a monthly tuition.

Each season offers something new for kids at the City of Redmond. Head to the Farrel McWhirter Farm Park for outdoor education, a preschool, and experiences with animals or get involved in the Kids Zone at the Redmond Senior & Community Center. From arts to animals and sports to STEM, there are youth activities for every interest.

Offers a variety of preschool, afterschool, and enrichment classes such as art and dance at locations throughout the community.

The PNA operates a preschool for children ages 3-5, where they participate in activities designed to give support and growth to the development of social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills and prepare for kindergarten. After-school programs offer a variety of recreational and educational opportunities such as arts and crafts, music, drama, cultural activities, and optional time for homework or tutoring.

Provides a preschool program with activities designed to stimulate learning and development. Meals and snacks are provided.

Offers education programs for young children at the University of Washington.   Infant and Toddler Program (ITP) Offers a variety of early-intervention services for families and children. Services are delivered by different providers based on the area: special education teachers, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists and family resource coordinators. Provides intervention through inclusive playgroups where all children learn and play together. Also serves children and their families by providing community and home-based services. These are determined by the needs of the child and the family and can take place in the home, at the center or in other community settings. Serves families in the King County area through contracts with the DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) and local school districts. Preschool Provides a high quality, inclusive, early learning program for all children.  Students are offered a unique, individualized program; an emphasis is placed on social and friendship skills. All classes serve children with a range of abilities and disabilities, including cognitive delays, communication disorders, autism, learning disorders and severe behavioral disabilities, as well as typically developing students. Implements systematic instruction to children with special needs. Physical therapists, Occupational therapists and Speech Language Pathologists work with the teaching staff to provide services for students who qualify. Full day preschool available for Seattle residents only. Kindergarten Provides a full-day, kindergarten program that includes students with and without disabilities. All children, regardless of ability, learn alongside their peers. Emphasizes the development of academic, social, communication and motor skills that enable children to be successfully in elementary school. Physical therapists, Occupational therapists and Speech Language Pathologists work with the teaching staff to provide services within the context of the general education and classroom environment.

Offers a variety of classes for parents. The "Family Connection" classes for parents and their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers include both the parent and young child (ages 1 -5 years). The various discussion classes on specific parenting topics are offered for parents of toddlers to teens. Provides a variety of classes that inform expectant parents about pregnancy, labor and birth, post partum expectations, and baby care. Breathing and relaxation techniques to use during labor and birth are also taught. A variety of parenting classes are also available. Program offered in conjunction with Peace Health St. Joseph Medical Center.

Offers parent-child playgroups that include children of mixed developmental levels. Individual and group programs are planned and implemented in a classroom setting to improve: - Cognitive - Play - Social - Self-help - Communication - Fine and gross motor skills Playgroups specialize in accommodating individual ability levels, enabling children with developmental delays or disabilities to learn side-by-side with typically-developing peers.
