Provides early intervention services for children birth to 35 months of age with either 1) a developmental delay, or 2) a diagnosis that is likely to result in a developmental delay. Services are provided in: College Place, Columbia-Burbank, Dayton, Dixie, Kiona-Benton City, Prescott, Prosser, Richland, Starbuck, Touchet, Waitsburg, and Walla Walla. Early intervention team members who support the family may include the following: Family Resource Coordinator (FRC), Birth to Three Teacher, Early Intervention Specialist, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Physical Therapist (PT), Autism Specialist, Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI), and/or Teacher of the Deaf (TOD).

The Early Childhood Services at OlyCAP are focused on addressing the needs of families with children age five and younger.  Preschool, early childhood development, child care and family support services are offered at sites throughout Clallam and Jefferson counties.  Children enrolled receive a developmental screening, an individualized learning plan, at least two meals each day and an active learning experience on days they attend the center.  In addition to children services, each family enrolled receives support in accessing medical and dental care for their child, parenting education, home visits and help with finding needed services or resources in the community. Head Start/Early Head Start Head Start and Early Head Start programs promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families.  The program strives to engage parents in their children’s leaning and help them in making progress toward their educational, literacy and employment goals.  Additionally, the Early Head Start program promotes healthy prenatal outcomes, promotes healthy family functioning, and strengthens the development of infants and toddlers. Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program is a whole-child, family-focused pre-school program designed to help low-income and at-risk children and their families succeed in school and life.  Because of the many factors that affect a child’s learning ability and development, ECEAP has four interactive components.  They are: learning in a pre-school setting, health screening and assistance with follow-up medical and dental care, healthy snacks and meals, and family support including help accessing resources and social service. Provides Autism screening for ages 18 months thru adulthood. A combination of observation, interaction, interview, and standardized screening questionnaires are used by a masters-level autism specialist to determine the likelihood of autism.

Provides developmental screenings and assessments, speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy, and specialized instruction to infants and toddlers.

Maternal Health Services provides community-based programs and services focused on providing preventive health and education for growing families throughout Central Washington. With a staff dedicated to giving families a healthy, hopeful start in life, Maternal Health Services offers programs in genetic counseling, maternity support services, maternal child health home visiting and coordination of regional perinatal improvement programs. Services available: - Central Washington Genetics Program: Offers genetic counseling, specialized genetic testing and diagnostic services. - Maternal Child Health Program: Provides office and home visits by a community health nurse or a licensed counselor. By giving women the information and support they need to make healthy choices, Maternal Health Services strives to promote healthy babies and strong families. Offers Birth to Three services to families with young children who may be experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Once a child has completed an evaluation and determined eligible, provides the family with a Resources Coordinator to coordinate services. Evaluates children's growth and development. If any developmental delays are identified, experienced childcare professionals work with parents and therapists to develop a plan to improve speech and/or motor skills as well as assess progress until goals are met. Services in this program include: - Early assessment/identification - Multi-disciplinary evaluations and progress monitoring - Speech therapy, occupational therapy and/or other specialty therapies per individual child needs Educates parents about abnormal behaviors they should look for and how to interact with their children to practice and improve language and motor skills. Work with school districts to transfer services as needed, once a child reaches age 3.

Offers screenings throughout the year to help identify children birth to 3 years old who may need special services. Special services can include occupational, physical and/or speech therapies, or a specialized early childhood program. Screenings will not show conclusively that a child has special needs, but it will indicate if he or she may need further assessment.

Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) is the Washington State Department of Early Learning program designed to be the first point of contact for any parents concerned about the development of their children. ESIT offers free developmental screenings for infants and toddlers along with an informational meeting for parents with a Family Resources Coordinator. Once a child is screened, a Family Resources Coordinator helps each family access the Early Intervention services through a referral system and provides each family with additional community resources for support.

Provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies, autism therapy, feeding and nutrition services, audiology, and neurodevelopmental assessments.

Provides a safety net for children involved in the child welfare system by ensuring their developmental and social-emotional needs are identified and addressed. Supports children and their families with milestones like walking, talking, eating, playing and learning. Offers developmental evaluations with team evaluation, regular re-evaluations and communication with child's physician. Treatment includes year-round special education, physical, occupational therapy and speech therapy provided in natural environments. Individualized service plans address motor, behavioral, social, cognitive, feeding and speech/communication skills in accordance with family concerns and priorities. Family support and social work services are also offered.

Provides a wide rage of services for children with special and developmental healthcare needs and their families. Integrates physical health, behavior, mental health, and educational services to optimize daily life for the child and family. Provides Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic clinic, behavioral and developmental evaluations, cleft lip and palate program, infant and toddler early intervention, medical specialty clinics, nurse family partnership, pediatric dental services, therapy services, speech and language therapy, genetics program, and family support.

Provides services to children from birth through age 12 with developmental delays, disabilities, and prenatal substance exposure. Helps children meet healthy developmental milestones. Direct service providers are uniquely trained to provide trauma- and FASD-informed care. Supplemental programs include free Play & Learn Groups for children of all abilities, 0-5 years.

Helps children ages birth to three reach developmental milestones. Families are matched with a Family Resource Coordinator and a team of specialists to help parents and children in any of the following areas: nutrition and feeding, play skills, sleep, speech and language, fine and grass motor skills and behavioral and emotional development, as needed. All interventions rely on evidence-based practice and are offered in the family's home. Program uses a parent coaching model, providing regular education and support to caregivers as they navigate their child's care. Staff support the whole family's needs by providing resources and advocating for both the child and the family.
