Services are provided wherever convenient for participants whether that be in home, clinic or in the community. The New Parent Support Team (NPST) is a voluntary program for expectant/new Navy parents.  Home visitation is the core service, with a focus on the health needs of infants and toddlers, prenatal and postnatal care, parent education, family/social support, and resources within the community.  Services focus on supporting the parent as well as parent-child interaction and child development.

Provides support and information to pregnant women who are also on or eligible for Apple Health (Medicaid). Nurses, social workers, and community health workers support expectant mothers before birth and for two months after the birth of the child. Offers pregnancy tests, options, and information classes. Also have Fetal Development classes and First Time Parenting classes. Can provide baby and maternity clothes, baby furniture, and baby items. Also provides housing in a Maternity Home.

Maternal Health Services provides community-based programs and services focused on providing preventive health and education for growing families throughout Central Washington. With a staff dedicated to giving families a healthy, hopeful start in life, Maternal Health Services offers programs in genetic counseling, maternity support services, maternal child health home visiting and coordination of regional perinatal improvement programs. Services available: - Central Washington Genetics Program: Offers genetic counseling, specialized genetic testing and diagnostic services. - Maternal Child Health Program: Provides office and home visits by a community health nurse or a licensed counselor. Maternity Support Services - MSS/Infant Case Management - ICM Households using Apple Health may also qualify for: - Referrals to community programs and services - Pregnancy and infant care education - Assistance with finding housing, employment, clothing, furniture, transportation - Assistance with finding financial assistance. - for those eligible, support services continue until the baby's first birthday. May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs to those receiving ICM services.

The Port Angeles Resource Center, fondly known as the Orville Campbell House, at First Step offers a safe place to find resources for your family.
