Parents experiencing a temporary crisis can arrange for their children to stay with Host Families volunteers while they address the issues that led to the instability in their lives. Provides a safe alternative to child welfare custody.

Provides a website with legal information and a guide to legal help. Addresses civil legal problems only including family law, debt and consumer issues, aging/elder law, government benefits, housing, domestic violence, health, employment, immigration, and more.

Offers support and services to those in recovery from substance/drug misuse, looking to obtain stabilization services, supportive housing services and more. Offers recovery groups, meeting and therapeutic, drug and veterans court related services.

For individuals who are having their first baby. Parents receive home visits from a specially trained nurse throughout the pregnancy and continue to visit until the baby is 2 years old.

Offers early learning services to residents within the school district. Offers two centers, for preschool and early kindergarten.

Offers prenatal through postpartum medical care for all women. First Steps ensures Medicaid eligible mothers and babies are healthy through pregnancy, childbirth and the first year of life by connecting them to resources and providing postpartum follow-up.

Offers court approved mandatory parenting classes to parents in the process of filing for divorce or legal separation. Includes a four hour seminar on separation, custody, child development, communication skills, and positive parenting skills.

Provides pregnancy testing, STI testing & treatment, and peer counseling along with parenting classes. Offers diapers, baby formula, baby food, baby clothing, and maternity clothing. Does not provide abortions or refer to abortion providers.

This 4-hour class offers an overview of researchers’ current understanding of the best approach for supporting children when they live separately from one or both parents. Participants receive a certificate at the completion of the class.

Provides preventive health and education services to help individuals have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Services are offered to pregnant people enrolled in Medicaid in addition to medical and prenatal care.

Connects people with community resources to help meet basic needs such as food and housing; including requests for emergency shelter, referrals for affordable housing and problem solving help with landlord/tenant issues.
