Treats the following conditions: gross motor delays, prematurity, torticollis, plagiocephaly, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, neurological and genetic disorders, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Early Intervention Services are available through referrals from many sources for children ages birth to three. We provide free developmental screenings for each referral and our Family Resources Coordinators can link you and your child with resources and programs appropriate for your child’s development. Screenings can be done over the phone, at our center or in your home.

Helps children ages birth to ten reach social-emotional, language and communication, cognitive and physical developmental milestones by assisting in the areas of feeding, occupational, physical, social skills and speech and language. All interventions rely on evidence-based practice. Clinic is outfitted with equipment specially designed for the treatment of young children. Staff have expertise in the field of pediatrics using a variety of therapy techniques and approaches.

Early intervention provides a collection of services families may need for their infants or toddlers with disabilities. Services may include helping the family find needed services for their child, helping the family understand their child’s developmental growth, and helping the family support their child’s learning and development and successful participation in home and community activities.

Headstart preschool which serves 48 low-income children; runs May through November. An ECEAP preschool which serves low income children; runs October through May.

Treatment includes year-round special education, physical, occupational therapy and speech therapy provided in natural environments. Provides therapy and early childhood education for children under the age of three who are exhibiting significant delays in their development. All services are provided at home or the at the child's care provider. Supplemental services such as play groups and field trips are also offered to enrolled families.

Provides various services for children, such as car seat safety checks and car seat discounted fees, Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD Dental), and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN). - ABCD provides access to dental care throughout Benton Franklin Counties for children who have WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Provides assistance in finding a dentist that will fit location, timing and language preferences and assists in coordinating transportation and interpreter services. - CSHCN provides care coordination for children with complex health needs, assists families to coordinate care with medical providers, to access local resources for their child, and to understand cope with the child's health condition. - Car seat safety check are also provided at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, 2nd Wednesday of every month. Innovative Services NW Pediatric Therapy provides an array of services to children with special needs including occupational, physical, and speech therapy, and special instruction and multi-disciplinary evaluations. They provide Early Intervention services for children who qualify for early intervention services, and also offer private therapy services at the clinic for children and youth. Additional specialties include feeding therapy, orthotics clinic, therapeutic listening, incontinence therapy, sensory-based therapy, special needs equipment fitting, multi-disciplinary evaluations, and intensive physical therapy.

Parents and staff will create an Individual Family Service Plan that outlines the concerns expressed from parents and family members and identifies the child’s special and unique needs. A Family Resources Coordinator will help coordinate programs and services for families and connect families with needed community resources and support. When a child turns three years of age, the staff helps transition children to preschool services, typically provided by the child’s local school district.

The Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a comprehensive preschool program that provides free services and support to eligible children and their families.

Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) is a program that extends and improves access to medical services. Provides access for identification, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of children under the age of 18 with physically handicapping or potentially handicapping conditions. It reduces the financial impact these services have on families who lack adequate resources for care.   Children with special health care needs may benefit from services such as:   Early identification of health or developmental problems,    Screening and/or assessment of the child and family's concerns, priorities and resources,    Tracking or monitoring,    Therapeutic intervention(s) including family education and support, and resource identification, referral, and coordination.    Home visits and/or telephone consultations with a Community Health Nurse can help provide Care Coordination Services.  And offer education about the following:   Medical problems, the care needs and available resources    Child behavior, growth and development, and Nutrition, basic baby and childcare    Parenting issues    Immunization information    Safety issues    Stress reduction    Taking care of yourself to prevent illness    Assist with problem solving and decision making
