Provides a wide range of community health services in selected sites throughout Washington, which include: Maternity Support, Infant Case Management, Maternal Child Health, Maternal Child Health, & Maternity Case Management.   Maternity Support Services: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family during pregnancy and after delivery.   Services include; - Community Health Nurse - Behavioral Health Specialist - Case Manager - Registered Dietician Provides personalized home and office visits focusing on your needs and concerns at certain stages of your pregnancy and after delivery. For example women may receive education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Infant Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family after the baby delivery. Services are provided by a member of the agency's interdisciplinary team. The goal is to improve the parent(s) self-sufficiency in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Maternal Child Health: Enables healthcare providers to address healthcare needs and concerns regarding the child. This course is a prevention program and does NOT satisfy court ordered requirements. Programs available in English and Spanish. Course helps: - Strengthen family relationships - Encourage positive behaviors - Teach a child new skills and behaviors - Gain confidence handling disruptive or challenging behaviors - Taking care of yourself as a parent. Offers a Triple P Group where parents in similar situations can meet. Parents who can support each other and share their stories. Each group is 8 weeks,1-2 hours per week. Triple P Group is free and open to families with children ages 0-17.

Provides families with immediate help such as food, diapers, and clothing, as well as connections to other resources such as healthcare, baby necessities, transportation, and parenting supports. Service Provides: - Food for the whole family - Diapers, wipes, and other baby necessities - Kids clothing, blankets, toys, and books - Connection to local and/or virtual support groups to help build community and - Connections to resources - such as healthcare, low cost internet, car seats, child care, after-school programs, and more. Amara's food pantry is generously provided by Eloise's Cooking Pot, made possible by the Making a Difference Foundation, and Puyallup Food Bank.

A community hub where individuals and parents with children can attend programs and workshops, access community resources, connect with others, and receive information and referrals. Services vary by location but may include use of the phone, use of the fax, access to applications for subsidized apartments, assistance applying for government programs such as TANF and EBT, and use of the computer work stations. Clients are not able to use the resource center as a mailing address. Some financial assistance is available dependent upon funding and eligibility requirements.

Provides families a monthly allotment of diapers, wipes and ointment.

Provides a one-stop hub of services in an environment designed for families. Services are individualized based on each family's needs and goals. Services include: - Kaleidoscope play and learn - Monthly community events - Resource fairs - Childcare enrollment support - Computer lab with printer - Showers - Basic needs items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, tents, sleeping bags and snacks

Supplements center based services: this program - informs, - educates, - supports and assists Service members (Active, Guard and Reserve), and their Families who are geographically or socially isolated from a military installation.

Provides limited help with basic needs such as transportation, clothing, and hygiene items if the need is emergent and other resources have been exhausted.  

Helps Spanish-speakers find needed social, health, or human resources in their community. Also provides individual advocacy and assists filling out documents.

Multi-service family support program offers outpatient mental health services for children and families. Services include case management, brief intervention treatment, less restrictive alternative support and family, group and individual therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Offers assistance with essential needs and develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. PREPARES Baby Supply Bags: provides basic baby supplies, based on the age of the child and can include diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, books, and toys. Family Companions: provide an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement. Find comfort and guidance with the support of a family companion who has walked the path of parenthood and empathize with its joys and struggles. Play and Learn Groups: facilitates play groups to support early brain development and kindergarten readiness: play group curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood brain development and family engagement. Play groups give parents and informal caregivers a free, accessible place to meet other families and get support. Sessions are held weekly in community spaces in the child’s own neighborhood and language. Parents as Teachers (PAT): develops curricula, trains early childhood professionals, and certifies parent educators to work with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. Vision: All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.

The Port Angeles Resource Center, fondly known as the Orville Campbell House, at First Step offers a safe place to find resources for your family. We have a free clothing and equipment closet, information and referrals, indoor and outdoor children’s play area, free diapers and formula, access to phones, computers, fax and copier, healthy snacks, free children’s books, and a Little Free Food Pantry and Fridge!

Provides family support through its Young Children and Family Programs of the Palouse (YCFP), which offers home visiting and group-based parenting programs for families in Whitman County. Boost Collaborative strives to build on each family's individual strengths and abilities rather than identifying and fixing a "problem." Services are provided at no or minimal cost to families.
