This course is a prevention program and does NOT satisfy court ordered requirements. Programs available in English and Spanish. For example women may receive education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Infant Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family after the baby delivery. Services are provided by a member of the agency's interdisciplinary team. The goal is to improve the parent(s) self-sufficiency in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Maternal Child Health: Enables healthcare providers to address healthcare needs and concerns regarding the child. Offers families on-going support and encouragement in the most difficult times and addresses essential needs to develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. Provides the following services: Young Mom's Support Groups; Family Companion, which is an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement; facilitated play groups available to children from birth to age 5, and their caregivers.

Parents as Teachers Partners with parents to support their child’s growth and development. Twice-monthly visits focus on learning through play, understanding the stages of child development, helping through the inevitable challenges of parenting, and supporting overall family well-being. Kaleidoscope Play & Learn Also offers weekly, bi-lingual playgroups. Parent Cafe's Playgroups include open play time, art projects, structured movement or song time, stories, parent support/coaching, and time to connect with other adults. Welcome Baby Boxes Gives parents essential supplies for their new babies. The baby box includes a sleep sack, washcloths, a Vashon onesie, and a hand-made quilt, along with parenting books and a Thriftway gift card. Clothing, diapers and some baby supplies are also available.

Provides Resource Navigation to support individual's and family's immediate and future areas of need as well as setting goals for a more sustainable future. Offers a variety of resources to help connect, provide, or work one-on-one to access items like basic utility support, limited rental assistance (City of Monroe and City of Snohomish only) transportation resources, employment, legal, and more. Spanish Resource Navigator available.

Provides limited help with basic needs such as transportation, clothing, and hygiene items if the need is emergent and other resources have been exhausted.  

The New Parent Support Team (NPST) is a voluntary program for expectant/new Navy parents.  Home visitation is the core service, with a focus on the health needs of infants and toddlers, prenatal and postnatal care, parent education, family/social support, and resources within the community.  Services focus on supporting the parent as well as parent-child interaction and child development.

Provides support and resource connection related to Drug and Alcohol Abuse for school aged children and youth. Focuses on prevention, working together to bring community resources and partnerships together to ensure youth have opportunities, support and every chance to succeed. FPYF’s prevention efforts span many risky behaviors including both substance abuse and youth violence. FPYF strives to make connections in the community that facilitate increased prevention, interventions and family support as well as local community connections and local resources.

Provides families with immediate help such as food, diapers, and clothing, as well as connections to other resources such as healthcare, baby necessities, transportation, and parenting supports. Service Provides: - Food for the whole family - Diapers, wipes, and other baby necessities - Kids clothing, blankets, toys, and books - Connection to local and/or virtual support groups to help build community and - Connections to resources - such as healthcare, low cost internet, car seats, child care, after-school programs, and more. Amara's food pantry is generously provided by Eloise's Cooking Pot, made possible by the Making a Difference Foundation.
