The New Parent Support Team (NPST) is a voluntary program for expectant/new Navy parents.  Home visitation is the core service, with a focus on the health needs of infants and toddlers, prenatal and postnatal care, parent education, family/social support, and resources within the community.  Services focus on supporting the parent as well as parent-child interaction and child development.

Provides case management, support, and access to social services, increases parental involvement in their children's education and improves the academic achievement of at-risk students. Activities to accomplish the program goals vary from school to school, including parent education, family focused interventions, crisis support and referral to appropriate social service agencies. Family support workers assist low-income families with referrals to medical and dental services.   Program available on-site at many elementary schools in Seattle Public Schools.   However, since not all schools have an on-site worker, Family Support Workers serve the remaining schools on an as needed basis.

Integrates physical health, behavior, mental health, and educational services to optimize daily life for the child and family. Provides Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic clinic, behavioral and developmental evaluations, cleft lip and palate program, infant and toddler early intervention, medical specialty clinics, nurse family partnership, pediatric dental services, therapy services, speech and language therapy, genetics program, and family support.

Offers assistance with essential needs and develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. PREPARES Baby Supply Bags: provides basic baby supplies, based on the age of the child and can include diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, books, and toys. Family Companions: provide an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement. Find comfort and guidance with the support of a family companion who has walked the path of parenthood and empathize with its joys and struggles. Play and Learn Groups: facilitates play groups to support early brain development and kindergarten readiness: play group curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood brain development and family engagement. Play groups give parents and informal caregivers a free, accessible place to meet other families and get support. Sessions are held weekly in community spaces in the child’s own neighborhood and language. Parents as Teachers (PAT): develops curricula, trains early childhood professionals, and certifies parent educators to work with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. Vision: All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.

Provides a wide range of community health services in selected sites throughout Washington, which include: Maternity Support, Infant Case Management, Maternal Child Health, Maternal Child Health, & Maternity Case Management.   Maternity Support Services: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family during pregnancy and after delivery.   Services include; - Community Health Nurse - Behavioral Health Specialist - Case Manager - Registered Dietician Provides personalized home and office visits focusing on your needs and concerns at certain stages of your pregnancy and after delivery. For example women may receive education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Infant Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family after the baby delivery. Services are provided by a member of the agency's interdisciplinary team. The goal is to improve the parent(s) self-sufficiency in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Maternal Child Health: Enables healthcare providers to address healthcare needs and concerns regarding the child. Helps families build on their strengths, find support networks, and promote overall well-being, through various programs. Parent Education - Incredible Years Parent Training: helps parents understand how to build a positive relationship with their child. Available at the Wenatchee Family Resource Center or in-home. Currently provided through a contract with DCYF. Families are referred by their social worker. - Project Safe Care: boosts parenting skills, while teaching how to improve the health of the child. Currently provided through a contract with DCYF. Families are referred by their social worker. -Triple P: evidence- based program boosts parenting skills. Currently provided through a contract with DCYF. Families are referred by their social worker. - Triple Point: Local program for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex) youth, 12 to 18 years old. Provides a safe place where youth can make positive connections, learn about community resources, receive the support they need, receive counseling, as well as participate in regular meetings with other LGBTQ+ youth and group leaders. School Success - Readiness to Learn: works with children so they can be successful in school and in the community. Serves students in the Entiat, Eastmont and Wenatchee school districts. - Truancy Invention Program: gives students a boost to help improve attendance. Serves students in the Wenatchee School District in partnership with Chelan County Juvenile Center.

Provides two parenting education programs (Mother2Mother and the Incredible Years) to help parents better their parenting skills. Mother2Mother: Offers a 10-week parenting education program for mothers of children birth to 3 years who have histories of childhood trauma. The program addresses topic such as social connection, resiliency, coping with stress, forming mother-child bonds, disciplining children, and other parenting topics relevant to mothers who have experienced trauma. The program is offered for free and childcare is provided. The Incredible Years: Offers weekly group meetings for parents where they learn about building strong relationships with their children using play and praise, as well as effective discipline strategies.  Free childcare is provided during the parenting education program.

Life Skills education programs teach concepts and principles relevant to a healthy lifestyle. Program designed to help pregnant women receive the medical and social services they may need. All pregnant women covered under Medicaid (WA Apple Health) are eligible for services. Offers a team that helps advise and support mothers through their pregnancy. Team includes a: - Registered Nurse - Nutritionist - Behavioral Health Specialist - Community Health Worker - an Infant Case Manager. Services are provided wherever convenient for participants whether that be in home, clinic or in the community. Services may include, but are not limited to: - free pregnancy testing - assistance in obtaining early and regular medical care - assistance in applying for Medicaid Medical Insurance/Apple Health - nursing information and education about pregnancy, labor and delivery - diet and nutrition counseling - information and education about baby care and parenting skills - assistance in accessing dental and vision care - childbirth education classes - care seat safety and car seats - family planning services - assistance in obtaining paternity information - assistance with housing - transportation to all medical and dental appointments - substance abuse counseling - lactation, breastfeeding support and breast pumps - free crib program - perinatal, prenatal and postpartum anxiety/depression support and counseling.

Provides family support through its Young Children and Family Programs of the Palouse (YCFP), which offers home visiting and group-based parenting programs for families in Whitman County. Boost Collaborative strives to build on each family's individual strengths and abilities rather than identifying and fixing a "problem." Services are provided at no or minimal cost to families. Offers the following: - Parents as Teachers home visits for families with children ages birth to 3 years - Nurturing Parenting home visiting for families with children ages birth to 3 years - Parenting the Strong-Willed Child home visiting for families with children ages Birth to 3 years

Multi-service family support program offers outpatient mental health services for children and families. Services include case management, brief intervention treatment, less restrictive alternative support and family, group and individual therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Offers parenting education, including Kaleidoscope Play and Learn parent/child activity groups. Other classes include: - Toddler Gym - CPR for infants/adults - Life Skills - Cooking and Nutrition - K-12 Tutoring. Offers support groups and workshops for Latino families.  Facilitates support groups to increase family's social support and decrease family isolation.   Also offers family advocacy, application assistance along with information and referral to a variety of other services.

Supplements center based services: this program - informs, - educates, - supports and assists Service members (Active, Guard and Reserve), and their Families who are geographically or socially isolated from a military installation.

Bi-lingual, bi-cultural staff provide support and information for Spanish speaking families in times of crisis. Offers relationship and parenting skills classes in Spanish.

This program is dedicated to guiding families in finding community resources and facilitating connections with essential services via a team of Family Resource Navigators (FRN). These services may include navigating state benefits, local financial resources, employment and financial education, one-time financial assistance, rental assistance, basic needs items, and more.

Provides a variety of supportive services, including a clothing closet, healthy snacks, family advocacy, mentors, and participation in community activities and events.

Supports the well-being of families by providing a culturally-tailored early-childhood home visiting program for urban Native American and Alaskan Native children and caregivers in King County.   Provides classes to help teach parents about child development and building a supportive parenting community.

Offers a wide variety of free services, including the following: - Parenting classes (twice a year) - Workshops (cooking classes, CPR classes, youth programming) - Playgroups for ages birth to 5 plus their caregivers, with English and Spanish playgroups available - Advocates available for assistance with resources and systems navigation - Community Closet for free children’s clothing, toys, books and more. - Diaper Bank (current waitlist) - Free monthly Family Field Trips to locations like the Aquarium, Zoo, and local museums.

Program that helps parents promote healthy development in children, and to deal with a wide variety of common social, emotional and behavioral issues and developmental concerns. This course is a prevention program and does NOT satisfy court ordered requirements. Programs available in English and Spanish. Course helps: - Strengthen family relationships - Encourage positive behaviors - Teach a child new skills and behaviors - Gain confidence handling disruptive or challenging behaviors - Taking care of yourself as a parent. Offers a Triple P Group where parents in similar situations can meet. Parents who can support each other and share their stories. Each group is 8 weeks,1-2 hours per week. Triple P Group is free and open to families with children ages 0-17.

A community hub where individuals and parents with children can attend programs and workshops, access community resources, connect with others, and receive information and referrals. Services vary by location but may include use of the phone, use of the fax, access to applications for subsidized apartments, and use of the computer work stations. Clients are not able to use the resource center as a mailing address.

Operates a food pantry with the following items based on availability: - Diapers & Baby Wipes - New/Gently Used Children's Clothing & Shoes - Blankets - Personal Hygiene Items - Small Household Items - Modest Offering of Non-Perishable Food Items Also provides resource referrals for essential services.
