Parent Education - Incredible Years Parent Training: helps parents understand how to build a positive relationship with their child. Available at the Wenatchee Family Resource Center or in-home. Families are referred by their social worker. - Triple Point: Local program for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex) youth, 12 to 18 years old. Provides a safe place where youth can make positive connections, learn about community resources, receive the support they need, receive counseling, as well as participate in regular meetings with other LGBTQ+ youth and group leaders. School Success - Readiness to Learn: works with children so they can be successful in school and in the community. Serves students in the Entiat, Eastmont and Wenatchee school districts. - Truancy Invention Program: gives students a boost to help improve attendance. Serves students in the Wenatchee School District in partnership with Chelan County Juvenile Center.

Multi-service family support program offers outpatient mental health services for children and families. Services include case management, brief intervention treatment, less restrictive alternative support and family, group and individual therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Offers assistance with essential needs and develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. PREPARES Baby Supply Bags: provides basic baby supplies, based on the age of the child and can include diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, books, and toys. Family Companions: provide an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement. Find comfort and guidance with the support of a family companion who has walked the path of parenthood and empathize with its joys and struggles. Play and Learn Groups: facilitates play groups to support early brain development and kindergarten readiness: play group curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood brain development and family engagement. Play groups give parents and informal caregivers a free, accessible place to meet other families and get support. Sessions are held weekly in community spaces in the child’s own neighborhood and language. Parents as Teachers (PAT): develops curricula, trains early childhood professionals, and certifies parent educators to work with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. Vision: All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.

A community hub where individuals and parents with children can attend programs and workshops, access community resources, connect with others, and receive information and referrals. Services vary by location but may include use of the phone, use of the fax, access to applications for subsidized apartments, and use of the computer work stations. Clients are not able to use the resource center as a mailing address.

Provides two parenting education programs (Mother2Mother and the Incredible Years) to help parents better their parenting skills. Mother2Mother: Offers a 10-week parenting education program for mothers of children birth to 3 years who have histories of childhood trauma. The program addresses topic such as social connection, resiliency, coping with stress, forming mother-child bonds, disciplining children, and other parenting topics relevant to mothers who have experienced trauma. The program is offered for free and childcare is provided. The Incredible Years: Offers weekly group meetings for parents where they learn about building strong relationships with their children using play and praise, as well as effective discipline strategies.  Free childcare is provided during the parenting education program.

Provides a variety of parent education classes from the "8-week Circle of Security" to a 24-week Nurturing Program.

Provides case management, support, and access to social services, increases parental involvement in their children's education and improves the academic achievement of at-risk students. Activities to accomplish the program goals vary from school to school, including parent education, family focused interventions, crisis support and referral to appropriate social service agencies. Family support workers assist low-income families with referrals to medical and dental services.   Program available on-site at many elementary schools in Seattle Public Schools.   However, since not all schools have an on-site worker, Family Support Workers serve the remaining schools on an as needed basis.

FPYF’s prevention efforts span many risky behaviors including both substance abuse and youth violence. FPYF strives to make connections in the community that facilitate increased prevention, interventions and family support as well as local community connections and local resources.

This program is dedicated to guiding families in finding community resources and facilitating connections with essential services via a team of Family Resource Navigators (FRN). These services may include navigating state benefits, local financial resources, employment and financial education, one-time financial assistance, rental assistance, basic needs items, and more.

Provides Resource Navigation to support individual's and family's immediate and future areas of need as well as setting goals for a more sustainable future. Offers a variety of resources to help connect, provide, or work one-on-one to access services like transportation resources, employment, legal, and more.

Offers family & parenting support through groups, like a mothering group for new mothers and parent support for couples and/or single parents with children up to age 3; child care and meals are provided during class. Offers individual support and referral services to help parents and families find the right resources to support their health and well-being.

Dedicated to engaging community members to plan and implement culturally relevant activities and events for the whole family, that is relevant to their needs and wishes.

Provides education, information, support and resources for children and families.   Services and activities are based on Family Support Principles and include:   -  Parent education -  Case management -  Family counseling -  Cultural and recreational activities    Staff and families work together in relationships based on equality and respect that enhance families' capacity to support the growth and development of all family members.  Parenting curriculum meets court ordered parenting class requirements.

Children and families are supported in the community with evidence-based practices and creative partnering with community organizations. Staff work to build quality relationships for children in the family, school and community.  Services offered include: Family consultation, Family crisis intervention, Community support services for children and adolescents,  Professional counseling and therapy for children and families,  Assessment, education and referral resources for families regarding child/adolescent issues, Specialty areas Parent and adolescent groups, Summer experiential social skills program, Psychiatric medication services, Wrap Around with Intensive Services (WISe). Services may be provided in person or via telehealth.

Provides families a monthly allotment of diapers, wipes and ointment.

Clients may receive an emergency food bag, toiletries/hygiene items, diapers, baby wipes, coats, flashlights, shoes, or other items as available.

Provides community information and referral for people with disabilities, their family members, friends and service providers working with the disability community.

Telephone and in-office assistance with information and referral for services in the Stanwood and Camano Island area.  

Offers classes and leisure activities that focus on family needs and interests such as:   -  Parenting classes -  Support groups -  Kaleidoscope Play & Learn groups (also available at Bothell United Methodist Church)   Parents must stay with children for the entire duration of the Play & Learn groups.

Provides a variety of supportive services, including a clothing closet, healthy snacks, family advocacy, mentors, and participation in community activities and events.
