Life Skills education programs teach concepts and principles relevant to a healthy lifestyle. Provides case management, support, and access to social services, increases parental involvement in their children's education and improves the academic achievement of at-risk students. Activities to accomplish the program goals vary from school to school, including parent education, family focused interventions, crisis support and referral to appropriate social service agencies. Family support workers assist low-income families with referrals to medical and dental services.   Program available on-site at many elementary schools in Seattle Public Schools.   However, since not all schools have an on-site worker, Family Support Workers serve the remaining schools on an as needed basis.

The ZONE is a resident-led initiative that works with partner organizations to bring programs and resources to Northeast Spokane. Partners are working on helping members with housing, after school and summer programs for children, food security, employment development, and more.

Offers clothing, household items, hygiene, food and laundry vouchers. Provides case management support and access to computers for job searches and connecting to resources.

Provides a one-stop hub of services in an environment designed for families. Services are individualized based on each family's needs and goals. Services include: - Kaleidoscope play and learn - Monthly community events - Resource fairs - Childcare enrollment support - Computer lab with printer - Showers - Basic needs items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, tents, sleeping bags and snacks

For example women may receive education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Infant Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family after the baby delivery. Services are provided by a member of the agency's interdisciplinary team. The goal is to improve the parent(s) self-sufficiency in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Maternal Child Health: Enables healthcare providers to address healthcare needs and concerns regarding the child. A professional can assist by visiting the child and mother at home. *  Service is offered in: Yakima County only.   Maternity Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family during your pregnancy and after delivery.   Services include: -  Community Health Nurse -  Social Worker -  Community Health Worker -  Registered Dietician Provides personalized home and office visits focusing on the needs and concerns at certain stages of the pregnancy and after delivery.  For example education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Walla Walla, Salem, Portland, and Woodburn, Oregon.

Provides families with immediate help such as food, diapers, and clothing, as well as connections to other resources such as healthcare, baby necessities, transportation, and parenting supports. Service Provides: - Food for the whole family - Diapers, wipes, and other baby necessities - Kids clothing, blankets, toys, and books - Connection to local and/or virtual support groups to help build community and - Connections to resources - such as healthcare, low cost internet, car seats, child care, after-school programs, and more. Offers assistance with essential needs and develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. PREPARES Baby Supply Bags: provides basic baby supplies, based on the age of the child and can include diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, books, and toys. Family Companions: provide an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement. Find comfort and guidance with the support of a family companion who has walked the path of parenthood and empathize with its joys and struggles. Play and Learn Groups: facilitates play groups to support early brain development and kindergarten readiness: play group curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood brain development and family engagement. Play groups give parents and informal caregivers a free, accessible place to meet other families and get support. Sessions are held weekly in community spaces in the child’s own neighborhood and language. Parents as Teachers (PAT): develops curricula, trains early childhood professionals, and certifies parent educators to work with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. Vision: All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.

Offers children and family counseling, treatment for child victims of sexual abuse, and coordination of family support services, including parent education, parenting classes, and family advocate services. Also offers emergency food and WIC to promote the self-sufficiency and well-being of local families.

Provides connections to after school programs, camps, outreach and engagement, teen prevention programs, teen mentoring, a community gymnasium, and public events.

Provides advocacy and education with the help of healthcare professionals to assist Oregon’s seasonal vineyard workers and their families access healthcare programs and services.

Supplements center based services: this program - informs, - educates, - supports and assists Service members (Active, Guard and Reserve), and their Families who are geographically or socially isolated from a military installation.

Multi-service family support program offers outpatient mental health services for children and families. Services include case management, brief intervention treatment, less restrictive alternative support and family, group and individual therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

The program is specifically designed for families facing difficult life circumstances and parents who desire to develop family-building skills. Parenting Class: Parents learn the Positive Behavior Intervention Supports system, used by many school districts. Parents have the opportunity to connect on a deeper level not only with their own families, but with their peers. Kids Groups: Kids learn the life skills necessary to understand, talk about, and cope with what is happening in their lives in healthy, positive ways. Kids meet at the same time as Parenting Class.

Provides childbirth education, newborn care classes, safe sleep workshop, breastfeeding workshop/support, and other classes which vary by season.

Bi-lingual, bi-cultural staff provide support and information for Spanish speaking families in times of crisis. Offers relationship and parenting skills classes in Spanish.

A community hub where individuals and parents with children can attend programs and workshops, access community resources, connect with others, and receive information and referrals. Services vary by location but may include use of the phone, use of the fax, access to applications for subsidized apartments, and use of the computer work stations. Clients are not able to use the resource center as a mailing address.

Supports the well-being of families by providing a culturally-tailored early-childhood home visiting program for urban Native American and Alaskan Native children and caregivers in King County.   Provides classes to help teach parents about child development and building a supportive parenting community.

Program that helps parents promote healthy development in children, and to deal with a wide variety of common social, emotional and behavioral issues and developmental concerns. This course is a prevention program and does NOT satisfy court ordered requirements. Programs available in English and Spanish. Course helps: - Strengthen family relationships - Encourage positive behaviors - Teach a child new skills and behaviors - Gain confidence handling disruptive or challenging behaviors - Taking care of yourself as a parent. Offers a Triple P Group where parents in similar situations can meet. Parents who can support each other and share their stories. Each group is 8 weeks,1-2 hours per week. Triple P Group is free and open to families with children ages 0-17.

Provides education, information, support and resources for children and families.   Services and activities are based on Family Support Principles and include:   -  Parent education -  Case management -  Family counseling -  Cultural and recreational activities    Staff and families work together in relationships based on equality and respect that enhance families' capacity to support the growth and development of all family members.  Parenting curriculum meets court ordered parenting class requirements.

Offers parenting education, including Kaleidoscope Play and Learn parent/child activity groups. Other classes include: - Toddler Gym - CPR for infants/adults - Life Skills - Cooking and Nutrition - K-12 Tutoring. Offers support groups and workshops for Latino families.  Facilitates support groups to increase family's social support and decrease family isolation.   Also offers family advocacy, application assistance along with information and referral to a variety of other services.
