Nurses, social workers, and community health workers support expectant mothers before birth and for two months after the birth of the child. Services are all covered by Medicaid, and may include supports like: - prenatal and postpartum education groups - breastfeeding groups - Doula services - transportation assistance during the pregnancy - Hospital tours - Behavioral Health or Chemical Dependency Services - Dental Care and - enrolling in WIC. May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs. Depending on the needs on the needs of the family, they may also receive Infant Case Management which provides support and guidance until the baby is one-year old. Purpose of the program is to help women have a health pregnancy outcome.

Offers a variety of classes on pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding and parenting. Technology equipment available for people to attend the classes. BASIC CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION CLASS:   Addresses the last months of pregnancy, childbirth and early postpartum.   Teaches relaxation and breathing techniques.   Class meets for seven sessions before the birth and one postpartum reunion class.   LABOR AND BIRTH:   This short course is to prepare for or review childbirth.   Meets for one eight hour class or two four-hour sessions. BREASTFEEDING CLASS:   Offers helpful hints and information on breast feeding for expectant and new mothers; babies are welcome.   Private classes may be available. SIBLING CLASS:   Prepares children ages 2. 5 to 7 for the pregnancy, birth and homecoming of a new family member.   BABYSAFE AND INFANT CPR:   Infant safety class for new and expectant parents and other caregivers who want to learn infant CPR and ways to prevent accidents and/or injuries for the baby younger than one year of age.   NEWBORN CARE CLASS:   Offers information about baby care during the first weeks of life, including diapering, cord care, bathing and comforting.

Provides free preparational classes for new parents on childbirth and related issues. Offers Obstetrics, pregnancy termination, and Gynecology services. Virtual translation services available.

Provides free pregnancy testing, diagnostic ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, maternity and baby clothing, diapers and miscellaneous items. Offers education and peer counseling on fetal development, nutrition, infant care and parenting. Offers natural family planning resources. Offers initial reproductive loss grief care.

Two classes for parents expecting their first child. A seven-week class series, Expecting Your Miracle, covers all the information you need to know to prepare for the birth of your baby and get off to a great start with your new baby. The Savvy Birth Workshop is a 2-hour Evidence Based Birth® Class covers: What evidence based care is and how to get it.; Finding the right provider and birth setting for your goals; Communicating with your care team; Patient rights and informed decision making.

Separate mentoring available for mothers and fathers. Classes meet court requirements. Topics include: -  Nurturing relationships. -  Safe places -  Healthy start -  Effective education Clients enrolled and participating in the parenting program may be eligible for additional support. Participants earn "Care Net Cash" which they can use to shop in the baby boutique, which has items like diapers, formula, clothing and baby furniture including car seats and cribs. Limited one-time assistance provided for non-participants.

Serves those who are pregnant or have children under 1 yr old that receive medical insurance through the State of Washington. Provides professional in-home visits by a staff of licensed nurses, counselors, and dietitians for low income or at-risk pregnant women who are facing barriers to having a healthy pregnancy. Works with women during pregnancy and, depending on her needs, into her baby's first year of life. Each client is provided with one-on-one counseling and education, in her home or place of residence, to help her have a healthy pregnancy and take needed steps to prepare and provide for her family. Also assists with resources life skills classes, community events, vital needs (such as diapers, car seats/cribs and food), job training, and many other services and resources to help women succeed. Moms can also continue to attend events and gatherings, even after they are not currently in the program. May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs to those receiving services.

Provides a broad spectrum of high quality health care services, with special concern for the poor and oppressed. Provides emergency room and level III trauma care, family birth center, rehabilitation for illness, surgery, injury, heart attack, or stroke; cardiology (24/7 emergency treatment of heart attacks) sleep disorders center; wellness classes, adult volunteer opportunities, and home health services.

Helps pregnant and newly parenting women prepare for delivery and parenthood with a series of classes. Lessons include topics such as Understanding Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Infant Hygiene, Infant First-Aid and Getting Your Baby to Sleep. At each weekly appointment, clients will meet one-on-one with a trained peer mentor for one hour. With each lesson that is completed, clients will earn “baby bucks” for supplies such as diapers, wipes, clothing and blankets.

Provides a birthing center and comprehensive care to expecting parents with the following services, including: prenatal consultation and care, private labor/delivery/recovery rooms, midwifery services, parenting and childbirth education, and maternal fetal medicine program.

Provides a wide range of community health services in selected sites throughout Washington, which include: Maternity Support, Infant Case Management, Maternal Child Health, Maternal Child Health, & Maternity Case Management.   Maternity Support Services: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family during pregnancy and after delivery.   Services include; - Community Health Nurse - Behavioral Health Specialist - Case Manager - Registered Dietician Provides personalized home and office visits focusing on your needs and concerns at certain stages of your pregnancy and after delivery. For example women may receive education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Infant Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family after the baby delivery. Services are provided by a member of the agency's interdisciplinary team. The goal is to improve the parent(s) self-sufficiency in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Maternal Child Health: Enables healthcare providers to address healthcare needs and concerns regarding the child. A professional can assist by visiting the child and mother at home. *  Service is offered in: Yakima County only.   Maternity Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family during your pregnancy and after delivery.   Services include: -  Community Health Nurse -  Social Worker -  Community Health Worker -  Registered Dietician Provides personalized home and office visits focusing on the needs and concerns at certain stages of the pregnancy and after delivery.  For example education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Walla Walla, Salem, Portland, and Woodburn, Oregon.

Develops programs focusing on general fitness, health and wellness, adult fitness, aerobics, heart health and recovering from stroke. Offers programs focused on women's health as well as older adult issues.
