Program designed to help pregnant women receive the medical and social services they may need. All pregnant women covered under Medicaid (WA Apple Health) are eligible for services. Offers a team that helps advise and support mothers through their pregnancy. Team includes a: - Registered Nurse - Nutritionist - Behavioral Health Specialist - Community Health Worker - an Infant Case Manager. Services are provided wherever convenient for participants whether that be in home, clinic or in the community. Services may include, but are not limited to: - free pregnancy testing - assistance in obtaining early and regular medical care - assistance in applying for Medicaid Medical Insurance/Apple Health - nursing information and education about pregnancy, labor and delivery - diet and nutrition counseling - information and education about baby care and parenting skills - assistance in accessing dental and vision care - childbirth education classes - care seat safety and car seats - family planning services - assistance in obtaining paternity information - assistance with housing - transportation to all medical and dental appointments - substance abuse counseling - lactation, breastfeeding support and breast pumps - free crib program - perinatal, prenatal and postpartum anxiety/depression support and counseling.

Offers prenatal, CPR, birth refresher, wellness and chronic disease management classes.   CPR class is intended for the general public for adult CPR and choking techniques. Participants do receive a Medic II CPR card, good for 2 years. The card is not a certificate. The newsletter 'Med Info' is published quarterly and lists classes and special events.

Provides childbirth education, newborn care classes, safe sleep workshop, breastfeeding workshop/support, and other classes which vary by season.

Provides a number of birthing options, including traditional delivery room method. Birthing rooms are designed for labor, delivery and recovery and family participation during the birth.   Offers pregnancy support services such as - Breastfeeding support - Centering Pregnancy - Childbirth and parenting classes - Midwives

Provides a broad spectrum of high quality health care services, with special concern for the poor and oppressed. Provides emergency room and level III trauma care, family birth center, rehabilitation for illness, surgery, injury, heart attack, or stroke; cardiology (24/7 emergency treatment of heart attacks) sleep disorders center; wellness classes, adult volunteer opportunities, and home health services.

Support services include:  Women, Infant, Children (WIC), Nurse Family Partnership (NFP), breastfeeding education & support, and Children with Special Healthcare Needs.

Provides comprehensive care to expecting parents with the following services:    - maternal fetal medicine program,    - midwifery services,    - prenatal consultation and care,    - parenting and childbirth education,    - a doula program and more.   Also provides a Level III neonatal intensive care for fragile newborns.

For example women may receive education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Infant Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family after the baby delivery. Services are provided by a member of the agency's interdisciplinary team. The goal is to improve the parent(s) self-sufficiency in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Maternal Child Health: Enables healthcare providers to address healthcare needs and concerns regarding the child. Provides health classes available in person and online. Class topics include pregnancy, parenting, substance use disorders and a variety of other health-related classes.

Serves those who are pregnant or have children under 1 yr old that receive medical insurance through the State of Washington. Provides professional in-home visits by a staff of licensed nurses, counselors, and dietitians for low income or at-risk pregnant women who are facing barriers to having a healthy pregnancy. Works with women during pregnancy and, depending on her needs, into her baby's first year of life. Each client is provided with one-on-one counseling and education, in her home or place of residence, to help her have a healthy pregnancy and take needed steps to prepare and provide for her family. Also assists with resources life skills classes, community events, vital needs (such as diapers, car seats/cribs and food), job training, and many other services and resources to help women succeed. Moms can also continue to attend events and gatherings, even after they are not currently in the program. May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs to those receiving services.

Provides comprehensive family practice services, which include: pediatrics, obstetrics, family medicine, diabetes education, behavioral health, immunizations, minor surgery, radiology, pharmacy, and medical laboratory.

Provides maternity case management, maternity support services, First Steps Program, assistance with breastfeeding, and childbirth education classes. Offers a variety of classes on pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding and parenting. Technology equipment available for people to attend the classes. BASIC CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION CLASS:   Addresses the last months of pregnancy, childbirth and early postpartum.   Teaches relaxation and breathing techniques.   Class meets for seven sessions before the birth and one postpartum reunion class.   LABOR AND BIRTH:   This short course is to prepare for or review childbirth.   Meets for one eight hour class or two four-hour sessions. BREASTFEEDING CLASS:   Offers helpful hints and information on breast feeding for expectant and new mothers; babies are welcome.   Private classes may be available. SIBLING CLASS:   Prepares children ages 2. 5 to 7 for the pregnancy, birth and homecoming of a new family member.   BABYSAFE AND INFANT CPR:   Infant safety class for new and expectant parents and other caregivers who want to learn infant CPR and ways to prevent accidents and/or injuries for the baby younger than one year of age.   NEWBORN CARE CLASS:   Offers information about baby care during the first weeks of life, including diapering, cord care, bathing and comforting.

Offers a variety of classes for parents. The "Family Connection" classes for parents and their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers include both the parent and young child (ages 1 -5 years). The various discussion classes on specific parenting topics are offered for parents of toddlers to teens. Provides a variety of classes that inform expectant parents about pregnancy, labor and birth, post partum expectations, and baby care. Breathing and relaxation techniques to use during labor and birth are also taught. A variety of parenting classes are also available. Program offered in conjunction with Peace Health St. Joseph Medical Center.
